Leaves are Medicine
An
introductory course into the use of Ewé (plants and herbs) and Ifá medicine
practice towards healing and transformation. These courses given by Bàbá
Ifáyẹmí will provide insights into the spiritual, physical, psychological and
social issues found within Ifá to bring about healing, wellness, balance and
transformation. There are three separate classes given that will cover three
types of medicines. As mention the Bitter Leaf and Memory medicine can be taken
by anyone studying to become a healer, wellness practitioner, initiates to
Ọ̀sanyìn, the deity of sacred herbs and plants. A two-day, 2 hours each
class. After the class, there will be a follow-up opportunity to speak
with Bàbá for additional Q&A.

Memory Medicine
Herbs and rituals to improve your memory. Memory medicine is a popular medicine used by both Òrìṣà Priest, Ifá Priest and anyone who wants to improve their memory. There are different types of memory medicine and applications as to how they are made and used. Students will learn about all three in this class. Students will prepare their medicine in this course, so it is highly advisable to purchase some herbs and materials from home so as to achieve the best results. Whenever possible herbs that are common to the spirit and composition of traditionally used plants and herbs in Yorùbáland can be identified in North America as adaptations and or additions will be discussed (as in all of his classes). This class will be both live and video recordings. A, two-day course 2 hours each class. After the entire class, there will be a follow-up opportunity to speak with Bàbá and for additional Q&A.

Bitter Leaf Medicine
Bitter Leaf medicine in Yorùbá is called
Ewúro. This important herb can be used in many ways, a detoxifier, used
in skin conditions for children and adults, and more. You will learn
about its many usages. An herb used by Ọya and other Òrìṣà , bitter leaf can be
used to bathe in. This is an herb
used in rituals of transformation. This is an herb easy to get and one
you should always have in your house.A two-day, 2 hours each class. After the class, there will be a follow-up
opportunity to speak with Bàbá for additional Q&A.

Babaláwo
Awo Ògúntólú Ifáyẹmí
has more than 16 years in the practice of Ifá.
He is also Ọmọ Ògún and has received several other Òrìṣàs by hand. Bàbá
is well respected in his town of Ìbàdàn. He is currently completing his
PhD in computer science. Bàbá’s course the “Leaves are Medicine” is a
must have in equipping us with a deeper understanding of living healthier
lives, helping your clients in improving and transforming their lives from
sickness to health through Ifá.
