Bàbá Òsénì lectures are for everyone who wants to learn about the Yorùbá speaking people, their culture, traditions and spirituality. His first weekly lecture will be on “Historical antecedents of peculiar Yorùbá characters that become Òrìṣà. You will know the history of deities like Ṣàngó, Ògún, and Olókun.
his classes are bi-weekly. Duration of each classes, shall be 1 hour and 30
minutes of either pre-recorded audio, or direct video talking plus brief
textual materials will be sent earlier to students prior to real talks.
Olúṣẹ́gun Òsénì is a Researcher, Writer/Publisher (The Genesis), Cultural
Historian, Curator of Traditions and Yorùbá Language teacher. For the
past almost forty years, he had been self-committed to his efforts at studying
researching into diverse cultures and historical antecedents of many places in
and around South-Western Nigeria and certain Yorùbá – speaking area of Benin
Republic in the same Sub-Saharan African.
